REVISED STATUTES

Dear ICTAC member,

Please, find hereafter a proposal for Revised ICTAC Statutes which is now submitted to discussion. To answer a frequent request, the ICTAC Statutes were indeed reorganized to make them more logical and easy to use. At the same time, they were updated, since world and ICTAC changed much in 40 years. This updating sometimes simply follows what was already done for years in ICTAC and was proved to be successful. Other times, it follows suggestions from the Executive and the Advisory Board over the last few years and on which your opinion is now required. To make your reading and understanding easier, all modifications and novelties are easily spotted from the special font used, whereas a number of them are followed by a short comment which will be deleted in the definitive version. You are kindly asked to let your Affiliate Councillor know your remarks and suggestions, so as to allow him/her to convey them all to our ICTAC Secretary by the end of January 2006. I thank you in advance for your contribution to this most useful matter for the future of ICTAC.
